When there's a question on the shop floor, the answer might be just a few steps away.

At A&E, engineering and panel fabrication happen under one roof. That means our teams can collaborate in real time, solve challenges firsthand, and keep projects moving.

Hear from Shawn Meline, Engineer & Panel Shop Manager, about why that matters.

Fewer surprises. Faster installs. It starts before machining even begins.

At A&E, every design is checked against actual components to help catch potential issues before they reach assembly. Because getting the details right early can make all the difference.

Precision doesn’t start on the shop floor. It starts before a single wire is landed.

At A&E, every completed design is sent to our CNC cutting system and verified against the actual components before machining begins. That attention to detail helps ensure everything fits as intended.

Did you know 40 A&E employees helped power the 230,000-square-foot Mesa Power Solutions project in Casper, Wyoming?

According to Project Manager Peter Zaharas, the greatest accomplishment wasn’t the sheer size of the project. It was the team’s ability to deliver a highly complex electrical installation while adapting to—and even anticipating—changes along the way.

That takes more than technical expertise. It takes communication, care, collaboration, and the professional foresight to stay ahead of what’s coming next.

230,000 square feet. A constantly evolving project. And an electrical partner ready to adapt.

For the Mesa Power Solutions project in Casper, WY, A&E navigated design revisions, new equipment, owner-requested changes and coordination across multiple trades — all while keeping safety and the project schedule on track.

That kind of adaptability takes more than experience. It takes proactive planning, continuous coordination and technical expertise.

We’re proud to have played a critical role in bringing this project to life.

One Year Later. A Completely Different Site.

June 2025 ➡️ June 2026.

The difference is hard to believe.

What started as dirt transformed into a 230,000-square-foot manufacturing campus—complete with the infrastructure needed to support manufacturing, assembly, testing and operations under one roof.

A year of progress. Thousands of moving pieces. Countless hours of coordination and field work.

And now, you can see what it all became.

This one might be our favorite.

Behind the Scenes

A project this complex doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

In the mechanical room, electrical systems have to work alongside mechanical equipment, controls, plumbing and everything else required to keep a facility like this operating.

That means coordination. Communication. Problem-solving. And a willingness to work alongside other trades to keep the project moving.

For A&E, being a project partner means more than installing electrical systems. It means understanding how our work connects to the bigger picture—and finding solutions together in the field.

Here’s a look behind the scenes.

Industrial Doesn’t Have to Look Industrial.

When you’re building a manufacturing facility, function comes first.

But that doesn’t mean the finished space can’t make an impression.

A&E worked alongside our project partners to help bring together an industrial, open-concept aesthetic while still delivering the electrical infrastructure this facility demands.

It’s a project where the systems do their job—and look like they belong there while doing it.
