Thanks to all that have contributed so far! The team is really excited. We will be competing at another local event in St. Cloud this weekend. If you want to check it out come l Saturday or Sunday at the St cloud River center. It's free to come in and watch. You can also chat with the team. We will be competing against 53 other teams from Minnesota. Then we have a week off and it's Texas baby!

FRC team 3134 the Accelerators were featured in the local Bemidji Pioneer Newspaper

The team will compete at the FIRST World Championship taking place April 16-21 in Houston, Texas, the team’s first invite to a world competition since robotics started in Cass Lake-Bena in 2012.

With Team 3134's Championships qualification April 16th - 21st. We are looking to our community for support to help provide this opportunity for our students. As this is a large added expense we are hoping to raise $25,000 to cover the cost of flights, shipping robot and pit, hotels, meals and registration for the team.

The Cass Lake Robotics teams went over to Grand Forks, for the Great Northern Regional. It was a great weekend and both teams competed well on the field.
The boys team 3275 finished in 23rd out of 56. They had a good robot with a good driver and despite some difficult pairings finished in the top half.
Team 3134 the girls finished on 13th and were picked up by the number five alliance to ultimately end the day with a fourth place finish in eliminations.

Team 3134 also won the Impact Award. This is the most prestigious award a team can be given in FIRST Robotics. It honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST. It was created to keep the central focus of FIRST Robotics Competition on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encouraging more of today’s youth to become science and technology leaders.
This has guaranteed the Accelerators an invitation to the world championships held in Houston, Texas in April, and with the teams a solid performance on the field has all but guaranteed us a spot at the Minnesota State Championship in May.
Congratulations to all the current girls and all the girls that have come before that have helped make this possible.

Our Accelerators finished their MSHSL State Tournament qualification matches with their 3-5-0 record. Congratulations to the teams selected for by Alliance Captains! Our team learned a lot at their first State Tournament, and look forward to returning!
