Hello again! It has been a super busy and hot summer! This deck we almost have completed on this beautiful lake home. Still adding stairs off the back and wrapping all exposed wood with composite cladding. Its hard to keep caught up with posts when there soo many projects being completed. Here are some pics of the most recent! As always a big thank you to all involved!!!

New handrail, balusters and stairs for this homeowner. We tore out the entire front deck and replaced it with a super simple 8'x8' landing. The uncovered section of the back deck was in major disrepair. It was taken down, but the stairs were connected to it. They were moved to the opposite side of the deck closer to the basement access. We haven't posted in awhile due to taking on new business ventures!

Out with the old and in with the new! We got the pleasure of updating the old windows in this home. Siding was cut back so the widows could be pulled easily, also giving us room to seal the new windows properly. At the homeowners request, we trimmed the exterior of the new windows with white woodgrain pvc trim. It's a little more pricey, but it will never rot like typical wood! It was also slotted on all sides to receive the vinyl siding eliminating the need for j channel.
We would like to thank all involved, and these amazing homeowners!

We got the pleasure to add some cover for animals soon to arrive at this amazing ranch! These super amazing owners had a stock pile of repurposed materials they wanted used to clean up their shop. This also helped keep cost down on their project. Concrete will be added to the covered section so mud is not an issue.
We still have some finish work on the outside of the enclosed pen before we're done. But on this gorgeous, ever growing ranch, the work is never done! We hope to work together on many upcoming projects to help complete their dream vision.
We give a big thanks for the opportunity to be part of this project!!!

Wow! What a difference a little screen makes. Here are some before and after pics of a back deck. The homeowners wanted less bugs and some coverage from rain. So we wrapped the whole deck with screen mesh! A screen door was also framed in and installed at the top of the stairs. Clear polycarbonate panels were used on the roof to still allow the sunlight in!
Just in time to enjoy some amazing early spring sunsets with no pesky flies!

With the addition of a closet upstairs, the rough framing of this project is almost complete. An entry door will be installed soon bringing our end of this project closer to its end. It's always a pleasure working with homeowners to bring their vision to a reality. We would like to give a big thank you to all involved and for the pleasure of working on this project!

Adding some extra living space for these amazing homeowners. We are building walls to close off a 20ft by 40ft section of their garage. It will have a typical 8ft ceiling height on the lower level. 16in i joists were used eliminate the need for any interior walls or beams.
Stairs will be built to access the upper level. Half of this space will be the master bedroom, leaving the remaining area for storage space. 3/4in legacy subfloor was used to ensure a solid floor upstairs.
If you ever start to think your garage is to big and you need some extra living space, gives us a call!

Boom! Then there was a roof! Thanks to this Missouri weather for giving us a couple decent days to get it whooped! Next, a gabled roof will be brought out for the front porch. With all doors and windows being special ordered they are still a few weeks out. Might be time to pour the slab for the garage... it's nice to get a break from remodeling to enjoy some new construction!
