Valve float? Stupid valve tricks? Too much time on my hands? You decide. Actually the sign of good valve stem to guide clearance. Also, you should hear a nice bright "ring" when the valve hits the seat.

Lost a friend today and the world lost a great person. He is a man I aspire to be. Kind, intelligent, helpful(the last two don't often go together), gentile, humble, soft but well spoken, I can go on and on. Anyone that knew him will agree that he is the EPITOME of walk softly and carry a big stick. He was the fastest man alive on a sit in motorcycle. He went over 300mph and held the 2 way record at 297mph. But if you meet him you would never have know because that wasn't his identity. He was soo much more. I used to find every excuse to go by his shop and would be the last one to stay there. I am not sad for him because he went out doing what he loved to do...... chasing records. (I think he got another one the day he crashed at 200).

Oh man what a bunmer! Funny, to this day she still holds me to a bad camshaft choice I made against her advice too many years ago to count. She is gonna be missed.

Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers we have received during this really difficult time. At this time we are dealing with a great loss in the We**am family. We lost our girl Melissa and her long time love Matt. We ask that you bare with us as we try to put the pieces back together. We appreciate all the love and support. Repairing a set of Moriwaki RC51 heads. Detonation had caused a piston ringgland to break and the pieces bent some valves. Moriwaki was able to go through Honda's parts catalog and choose some odd valves that I could not identify and locate. So I just made some lightweight stainless steel valves to replace them. They came out lighter, stronger and shinier!

Porting and a valve job really woke this CRF230F up. 12% gain at the top of the curve with a stock valve. Customer said it runs better than any other 230 head he has had done!

First time using a PCD cutter. It cuts noticeable quieter than the CBN and I really like the finish.

They almost went 4 for 4! 3 valve heads successfully installed into 3 valve bowls. Lol I could fix it but most likely it will end up being a flow bench mule for the other 3 cylinders. I will say these micro sprints a very hard on motors. Wish the drivers wouldn't try to just "drive thought" (read keep it WFO) wheel hop.....
