This custom 120’x120’ all-steel facility will feature a fully enclosed 60’x120’ insulated shop paired with a 60’x120’ open canopy area designed for equipment storage, workflow efficiency, and protection from the elements.

The project also includes a full reinforced concrete foundation package, a 120’x15’ containment pad, and large commercial overhead doors bringing together the durability, access, and functionality needed for a hardworking farm shop.

We had a great group of 3rd graders out at SMC last week and they didn’t just watch, they got involved!

We talked through safety on a real job site and why it matters every day. They got to think like builders by designing their own dream homes and seeing how those ideas turn into real plans. Then they stepped into the hands-on side, working with tools and getting a feel for what the work actually looks like.

It was a full hour of learning, building, and trying things for themselves. They asked great questions, stayed engaged, and weren’t afraid to jump in!

What we really wanted them to see is that construction isn’t just one job, it’s a lot of different paths. From planning and design, to safety, to working in the field, there are a lot of ways to be part of building something real.

We had a great time showing them what we do!
