Pelco awarded $60,000 to develop smarter testing for electronic components

Pelco Component Technologies, an electronic components manufacturer headquartered in Cazenovia, has been named a winner of FuzeHub’s Jeff Lawrence Innovation Fund New York State Microelectronics Innovation Challenge. The company and its partner, Alliance for Manufacturing & Technology of the Southern Tier (AMT), will receive $60,000 for a collaborative project to develop smarter testing for electronic components.

2025 Tariff Impact Mitigation Strategies

Putting Power to Work with the TGQB Recycle Timer

The TGQB is a recycle timer with a selectable cycle length and adjustable “On” time as a percentage of the total cycle from 1% to 99%. Available relay ratings of 10 amps. Relay common is internally connected to the input voltage terminal to minimize terminal count. Adjustment potentiometer is separate from the module to allow for panel mounting.

There are many uses for a percentage timer. We have many customers that manufacture chemical pumps that dispenses product based on time. Natural gas does not smell and our timer dispenses a chemical into a well 60 seconds every hour or 10% of the time.

Putting Power to Work with the TH3PL Single Shot Solid State Timer

This TH3PL is used in law enforcement vehicles. In the trunk is a shotgun lock and there is a switch under the dash. The officer presses the button and has 8 second to retrieve the weapon before the lock closes. The same application is for home use in the protection and safety of gun use.

TH3PL series is a 1 amp solid state single shot timer. When power is applied and an initiate switch is pressed, the power is transferred for the desired time.

Putting Power to Work with the TH3PL Single Shot Solid State Timer
The TH3P single shot timers have a number of applications where power is needed for a period of time and shuts off. Unlike an Interval timer, the TH3PL single shot needs an initiate switch to activate the timer. One specific application is our TH3PL7015SC1, a 15 second timer with an audible output as well as voltage. It is used for wheelchair accessible vans and the user has 15 second to get the chair into the right position so a locking mechanism secures it. Other applications include a coin operated air dispenser and a paint shaker you see in hardware stores.
Airotronics solid state single shot TH3PL is a 1 amp fully encapsulated time delay relay. Power is always applied. Once the initiate switch is pressed, either momentary or maintained power transfers to the output terminal until the time delay expires. Removal of power resets the single shot timer.

Putting Power to Work with the TEKRU Repeat Cycle Flasher

The TEKRU repeat cycle flashers are used in many different applications to provide warnings of equipment operation. They are used in light towers for CnC machines and the like. Another application is commercial lighting for streetlights and aftermarket automotive signaling. The TEKRU is wide voltage from 24 to 240vac and 12 to 48vdc.

The TEKRU repeat cycle flashers are made with digital circuitry to insure excellent accuracy. They are in a compact cylindrical design for ease of installation. They are available from 20 to 120 flashes per minute with an equal on and off time.

Putting Power to Work with the MC1003863K – Dual Pump Control.

Coming off the line this week – This MC is very common to most pumping applications with system specific features that are easily adjusted by turning a dial or closure of a switch. There are many applications including:
• Pumping Stations
• Storm Water disposal systems
• Waste Water Treatment Stations
• Domestic Pressure Booster Pumps

Other features include audio and visual alarms, completely encapsulated for the harsh environments and the MC is very inexpensive compared to PLC solutions.
