Haven't posted in a while. Wanted to share some pics of our recent foundations. The first is a slab on grade in Liberty Hill, TX , interior beams being dug now. The second is a footing and stem wall home in Jarrell, TX which is based on an 1890's hand-drawn Architectural blueprint!

This is what you get when you take the lowest bidder on your driveway. 3 inches of concrete, some thin rusty wire mesh, and crooked formwork with very little bracing. I took this pic the other day while driving to a job. I would never pour a driveway this lousy. Homeowners should do some research and ask more questions about the product they are getting. Vehicular concrete should always be 4 inches and have rebar installed. You get what you pay for.
