Bill Heine established American Constructors in Austin in 1982. The company's foundation rose from the complicated details and challenges of design-build high-rise concrete construction. Now, more than 35 years later, we have completed over 175 projects, valued at just shy of $1 billion. We have also built a diverse, experienced team of knowledgeable and ambitious employees to help us deliver successful projects to our valued clients, over 80 percent of whom we’ve done work for previously. As a general contractor/construction management firm, we provide full construction services and have experienced staff to take projects from the preliminary stage of design all the way through post-completion warranty inspections and maintenance assistance. We excel in providing input and support to projects that require a builder with detailed engineering expertise to evaluate designs and systems and to meet stringent budgets and schedules. Additionally, we self perform a large percentage of our own concrete and carpentry work.
