This week we finally designed and built a rocket stove more suitable for production. Whether you’re frying up bacon and eggs, setting the mood, or happen to be a bit of a closeted pyromaniac… these units will suit you well. We will be taking orders for these at $625 each via check, but Benjamin Franklin could negotiate a sizeable discount. Being Built from 3/16” wall 5” square tube and 1/4” sheet steel, pound for pound it’s a bargain.

This past year we modified a car trailer and made provisions for a tiny house, including cutting off the beaver tail, adding 6ft to the trailer and relocating the axles. We also lined the bottom of it with 14ga sheetmetal to keep the curious critters out and made provisions to mount floor joists. The 6ft added allowed room for a screened in porch which will be instrumental in allowing personal space during the inevitable matrimonial quarrel. We are here to provide solutions including trailer repairs, modifications, flooring and electrical! Don’t be afraid to reach out!

N. Malcolm Transport LLC contacted us because his fenders were sagging, dragging, and the issue had been nagging. We repaired one broken mount, and some quick CAD work yielded this hot rod inspired cross brace that restored rigidity to the mounting system and I believe it could be envied by logistics professionals of any age… sure to get him 4 hours down the road and beyond.

In the past week we have forged ahead to the home stretch of a project that has been in the works. After design, fabrication, finishing, site layout, concrete, installation of electrical provisions for gate operation and security surveillance, the gate is up and rolling today. Once the remainder of the equipment is it place it will provide automated access and protection for a self storage facility. One of the best things about being a welder and fabricator, is when someone approaches you to develop a solution for a problem they have. In this instance the issue was loading telephone poles and equipment for transport to the job site. We designed and fabricated pole clamps that fit into the stake pockets, when in the open position they allow the pole to be supported off the edge of the trailer deck to allow the ramps to be put up safely. When In travel position the clamps are secured from across the trailer with a strap or chain and binder. If you’re in need of a pole replacement or installation, Pro Source can be there in a flash!
