We are delighted to share that Engr. Shah Adnan Mahmood has joined us as one of the Administrators of Geocal Bangladesh, bringing with him a dynamic blend of engineering expertise, sustainable business leadership, and infrastructure development experience.

Adnan is a Civil Engineer and Certified Expert in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance with around 15 years of professional experience spanning infrastructure development, sustainability, business development, project coordination, compliance management, and climate-focused initiatives. He completed his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology and earned his MBA in Marketing from the University of Dhaka.

Throughout his professional career, Engr. Adnan has worked with several renowned national and international organizations including ONE Bank PLC, SMEC International PTY. Australia Ltd., Vitens-Evides International Netherlands, Institute of Water Modeling (IWM), and Mother Color Ltd. His extensive involvement in industrial, infrastructure, environmental, and development projects has enabled him to contribute significantly in areas such as project appraisal, sustainability strategy, climate resilience, compliance management, and business development.

Engr. Adnan possesses strong expertise in strategic coordination, project feasibility assessment, environmental and social risk management, infrastructure consultancy, and stakeholder engagement. Over the years, he has successfully coordinated technical proposals, project negotiations, donor-funded initiatives, and multidisciplinary development programs with organizations such as the World Bank, ADB, JICA, and various government agencies.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Engr. Adnan has proudly represented Bangladesh at several prestigious international conferences and forums including ICQCC Tokyo, ICSQCC Mauritius, and COP-30 in Belem, Brazil, contributing to discussions on sustainability, operational excellence, and climate resilience.

With his strong leadership, technical background, and strategic vision, we are confident that Engr. Shah Adnan Mahmood will play an important role in strengthening Geocal’s future growth and operational excellence.
