Demolition is underway at the new Sam Sandos Westside Family Health Center! Haselden is proud to partner with Denver Health to transform the existing clinic site into a world-class community health center. The new clinic will increase capacity by 33% and expand services including pediatric and adult primary care, dental care, OB-GYN, physical and occupational therapy and advanced imaging such as CT, X-ray, ultrasound and mammography.

This May, we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month 🧠

Haselden's Culture of Care Committee is sparking meaningful conversations around mental health, support, and the importance of asking for help. Last week, we welcomed Camille Harding, CEO and Founder of Paragon Behavioral Health Connections, for a seminar on the many forms of grief and practical tools for coping and healing. Productive, impactful conversation was had, and our team members walked away with valuable learnings and a better understanding of this tough emotion. At Haselden, we’ve always believed that building a community goes beyond the job site: it’s about showing up and doing our part to help our neighbors thrive. Giving back is a core part of our culture, and we’re lucky to have a team that’s always ready to jump in and get their hands dirty.

April was a busy month for our crews: our Culture of Care Committee partnered with Food For Thought Denver to support the alleviation of food insecurity across the metro area. Volunteers spent their Friday mornings packing backpacks to ensure local students have the resources they need to succeed. To top it off, our Preconstruction team spent an afternoon cleaning up the swim beaches at Cherry Creek Reservoir to get the park ready for summer (followed by a well-earned happy hour). We’re proud of the effort our people put in to keep our communities strong!

Haselden has partnered with Aspen Valley Hospital for over two decades as their space and needs evolve alongside the Valley. Our On-Call team completed Phase 4 of their revitalization in 2025, adding a new main entry and a 900sf remodel to accommodate a new Nuclear Medicine CT system. A floor to ceiling glass curtain wall provides sweeping views of the Aspen Valley, while the exterior continues the existing architectural style.

The hospital remained open throughout construction, requiring thoughtful phasing and increased safety measures to ensure construction didn’t interfere with day-to-day operations.
