We do landscaping now too, apparently 🌿🔧

These units were fighting for their lives against jungles of overgrown vegetation. Vines, grass, bushes — you name it, we cleared it. Wasn't exactly in the job description, but somebody's gotta do it.

Here's why it matters: most common units need 18-24 inches of clearance from vegetation and landscaping. Crowd that space and you're choking off airflow — same problem as a dirty coil, just caused by nature instead of dirt.

It's hard on the equipment (reduced airflow, more strain, shorter lifespan) and hard on us (nobody warned us we'd need a machete to access the service panels.)

Give your unit some breathing room. Your AC isn't trying to blend into the landscaping.

This unit was breathing through a straw. We fixed that. 😮‍💨

This filthy unit didn't clean itself — we're talking years of buildup, and airflow that had essentially left the chat. The stuff you see in a few seconds of video took real elbow grease on our end.

Why it matters: a dirty unit works harder to do less. Less airflow, higher bills, more strain on parts that weren’t designed to handle the increased temperatures caused by that reduced airflow. This is exactly why we push yearly maintenance so hard. Catching and cleaning buildup early means less time under the hood, fewer surprise breakdowns, and lower repair bills — a win for your wallet and our schedule. 🔧

Moral of the story — a little upkeep now beats a big headache later.

Jen joins us as our Office Manager and brings over 10 years of customer service experience to the team. She’ll be in the office Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, helping keep things running smoothly and making sure our customers receive the great service they deserve.

When she’s not at work, Jen enjoys spending her free time with her family. ❤️

"IT'S NOT THE HEAT, IT'S THE HUMIDITY!" 🥵

We've all heard it a thousand times — turns out it's actually true. Look closely at these photos 👀

🔥🥶 DID YOU JUST TURN ON THE HEAT?!?

Yep. We did. 😂 And here’s why…

We showed up to find this AC completely frozen up. 🧊

On this particular system, we were able to safely use the gas furnace to help thaw the frozen coil so that we could properly diagnose the underlying issue. That saved us some time on-site—and ultimately saved the customer money.

But before you try this yourself… not every scenario is the same, so this isn’t something you should assume is safe on your system.

If your AC freezes up:
❄️ Turn the cooling OFF
💨 Set the fan to ON
📞 Give us a call

A frozen AC has a problem that needs to be diagnosed. Your air conditioner should make cold air—not ice! 😂

Dirty condenser coils are a silent efficiency killer — reduced airflow, higher energy bills, and extra strain on your system that can shorten its lifespan. A little maintenance now saves a lot of headache later. 🧽🔧

We tried cleaning around the hail guard, but after a couple minutes we gave up on shortcuts and stripped the whole unit down instead — because a job worth doing is worth doing right. 💪
