We're hiring a fabrication shop hand /material handler / parts cutter

$18 - $24 an hour DOE

Per diem position with potential to go full time

Shop Location: 901 W Main St Centralia Wa

CCFAB is a custom metal fabrication company located in the City of Centralia.We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our team.

Candidate will be responsible for stocking materials, cutting parts, deburring, drilling, punching and preparing parts for fabrication & final finish

-Cleaning machines, sweeping, degreasing & general clean up to maintain a clean & safe work area.

-Valid driver's license required

-Proficient reading a tape measure

-Proficient with decimal and fractional dimensions 1/16" (.0625") 1/8 (.125) etc

-Ability to read and understand various blueprints, drawings & sketches while maintaining specified cut tolerances.

- basic knowledge of mig welding, and light fabrication & small repairs

-Work with other employees to complete larger projects

-Operate iron worker, shear ,notcher, drill press, band saw, oxy acety torch, plasma torch, welder, grinder, saw, drill, rivet gun, welders and forklift

-Perform minor maintenance and maintain a clean work area

-Keep machines clean and functional

-Operate forklift & overhead hoist as needed

-Help throughout the shop where help is needed

>>Physical Demand and Work Environment:

· Shop is not climate controlled, but portable Fans & heaters are available

· Stand/work on concrete the majority of the day

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs

CCFAB is a custom metal fabrication company located in the City of Centralia.We are seeking a motivated candidate with experience in custom fabrication, layout, fitting & assembly. Ability to weld/grind and blend multiple materials & profiles.

-WABO structural D1.1 certification is preferred .

-Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred

-Majority of fabrication will be in the shop, but occasionally we will do on site fabrication & welding as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

· Five(+) years of verifiable MIG, TIG, fabricating and fitting experience is mandatory

· Ability to read and understand various blueprints, drawings & sketches while maintaining specified tolerances.

· Work with other employees to complete larger products

· Operate iron worker, press brake, notcher, drill press, band saw, oxy acety torch, plasma torch, welder, grinder, saw, drill, rivet gun, welders and forklift

· Perform minor maintenance and maintain a clean work area
