We are looking for skilled assemblers and integrators to join our team. As a part of our manufacturing team, you’ll build kiosk enclosures by assembling finished metal parts, and installing IT components like printers, monitors, and scanners. After building each kiosk, you’ll then perform a visual inspection to ensure the end product meets the job specifications. But working at Olea isn't only about what you can do for the company. Some of the tasks you'll handle include:

Review job specifications, and ensure all required parts, hardware, and IT components needed for job are available
Review job specifications to determine proper assembly and configuration for finished kiosk
Assemble kiosk and integrate hardware and IT components, with the use of hand and power tools, and various fasteners, including screws, nuts, cable ties, and adhesives
Thoroughly inspect work throughout the assembly process to verify conformance to specifications
Regularly inspect materials and equipment for defects

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We are located in Cerritos, CA. Starting pay range for this position is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Our Austin model kiosks are so pretty because all of the subtle details. Details like the forward tilt that leans forward to greet users. And the unique radius’d corner on the rear of the kiosk. Nobody cares about the back of the kiosk do they? We do!

Looking back on 2017 and this was certainly one of the more challenging projects. We worked with the folks at JCDecaux to engineer and build about 60 of these Kiosks.

The monitors in these are 84” 4K monitors on both sides of the kiosk. One side of the kiosk the monitor works as a door to get inside of the unit. I remember the first time we tested the door and everyone collectively held their breath while Dan our Engineering leader had the honors. It worked and everyone was relieved. These monitors weighed well over 250lbs and they knew they had to really reinforce the hinges and the frame to accommodate all the weight.
