Exciting advancement in food protection! A new study from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign confirmed use of Eden Park's microplasma Far UV-C light is a SAFE and EFFECTIVE way to alleviate fungal contamination of corn and wheat. This contamination is a serious threat to public health, costing more than $100M in losses annually.

Traditional light methods emit a wavelength that prevents humans from being in the vicinity. "So instead, we are using a technology called microplasma-based Far UV-C light. It emits light at 222 nanometers, a wavelength other studies have found to be safe for humans, even at prolonged exposure."
