Before you can change someone’s performance, you have to change how they see themselves.

When I train a team, I’m not just teaching them how to sell, communicate, or handle objections.

I’m teaching them to operate at a completely different level.

There’s a difference between showing up to fix a problem and showing up with the mindset of an ELITE SERVICE WARRIOR.

You don’t just fix problems. You solve them.
You don’t just service homes. You protect families.
You don’t back down. You step up.

Identity drives behavior. Behavior drives results.

When you start seeing yourself as a professional, you start walking, talking, and performing like one.

And that doesn’t just apply to plumbing or HVAC. It applies to EVERY industry.

You don’t wait for success. You CREATE it.

That’s the standard. 🔥

Happiness isn’t found in how much money you make. It’s found in who you become along the way.

I’ve had success. I’ve made money. I’ve won awards. But when I look back, that’s not what brings me the most fulfillment.

It’s the growth.

It’s looking back at the man I used to be and recognizing how much I’ve changed.

Every challenge, every uncomfortable situation, every setback gave me an opportunity to become better.

But growth doesn’t happen when you run from discomfort. It happens when you lean into it.

You have to be willing to kill off the old habits, the bad patterns, and the version of yourself that’s holding you back.

And that process never stops.

The real reward isn’t what you achieve. It’s who you become in the process.

Keep evolving. Keep growing. Your life will get infinitely better because of it.

👇 What’s one thing you’ve had to change about yourself to get where you are today?

How many times do you check your phone throughout the day?

I had a rep back in my alarm days who actually tracked it. By the end of the day, the number was ridiculous. Thousands of times.

Now think about that.

Every time you pick up your phone, every distraction, every unnecessary scroll… that’s time and attention you’re taking away from something else.

And here’s what I want you to understand.

Your habits are either moving you closer to your goals or pushing you further away from them.

You can’t say you want to be successful, make more money, or become a better version of yourself while continuing to feed the habits that are holding you back.

Success isn’t just about what you do when you’re motivated. It’s about what you do consistently when nobody’s watching.

Your daily habits will eventually expose your priorities.

So here’s my challenge: Pay attention to how many times you pick up your phone tomorrow. The number might surprise you.

👇 Be honest. What’s one habit you know you need to change?

People are talking s**t about me putting my leg up on a homeowner’s wall. 😂

But they’re missing the entire point.

It’s not about the leg. It’s about the energy, confidence, and certainty you bring to every conversation.

Think about it.

How are you showing up at the door?

Are you nervous? Unsure of yourself? Worried about what the homeowner is going to think?

Or are you showing up with the certainty that what you have can actually help them?

There’s a BIG difference.

I’ve knocked enough doors to know that people can feel your energy before you ever get into your pitch.

If you’re showing up worried about rejection, your body language, your tonality, and your confidence are going to reflect that.

But when you genuinely believe in what you’re offering and you’re there to SERVE, everything changes.

You’re not there to beg for a sale. You’re there to help somebody.

That’s where real certainty comes from.

Stop listening to the K-Sh*t Radio in your head telling you what everybody else might think.

Know your product. Believe in what you’re doing. Show up with certainty.

Because HOW you show up matters just as much as WHAT you say.

👇 What’s one thing you do to get yourself in the right mindset before knocking doors?

10/16/2026

You don’t build confidence by avoiding uncomfortable situations. You build it by putting yourself in them.

Every door you knock. Every rejection. Every objection you face.

It’s all repetition.

Think about it like going to the gym. You don’t get stronger by lifting weights once. You get stronger by showing up and doing the reps over and over again.

Sales works the same way.

The more uncomfortable conversations you have, the more comfortable you become having them.

The more objections you face, the more certain you become in your ability to handle them.

And eventually, something changes.

You’re no longer trying to convince yourself that you’re confident. Confidence becomes part of your identity.

That’s what repetition does.

It doesn’t just make you better at selling. It changes who you are.

Courage builds leaders. Certainty builds legends.

But neither happens without putting in the reps.

How many reps are you willing to put in before confidence becomes part of who you are?

“So when you pull my credit, now I have a loan.”

That’s what the homeowner said. And this is exactly where understanding the objection matters.

When someone has heard the same solar pitch over and over, they automatically assume every program is the same.

But here’s the difference.

If we’re talking about purchasing a solar system with a battery, you’re potentially looking at a $60,000–$70,000 investment.

That’s NOT the program I’m explaining.

We’re talking about a completely different approach. Solar, battery storage, and a Powerwall designed to give homeowners more control over their energy and reduce their dependence on the utility company.

The mistake sales reps make is trying to overcome an objection before understanding where it comes from.

Don’t argue with the homeowner. Don’t get defensive.

Understand what they believe, then show them what’s different.

That’s how you turn an objection into a conversation.

The psychology behind getting a YES starts with understanding IDENTITY.

People make decisions based on who they believe they are.

When something aligns with someone’s identity, it becomes a much stronger reason to say YES.

That’s why I don’t waste time arguing with objections.

I ask questions to understand what matters to the customer. What do they value? What kind of person do they see themselves as? How does my product fit into that picture?

When you connect your offer to something they already believe about themselves, the conversation changes.

And here’s the interesting part.

This same psychology works on YOU.

If you consistently avoid doing the hard things, you’re reinforcing that identity.

But when you consistently show up, push through discomfort, and do what you said you would do, you’re building a new identity.

Your actions reinforce your identity. Your identity drives your decisions. And your decisions determine your results.

Master the psychology. Master the sale.

“I wouldn’t put any holes in my metal building.”

That’s not a rejection. That’s a legitimate concern.

And there’s a BIG difference.

When a homeowner brings up a concern like this, I’m not going to argue with them or try to convince them they’re wrong.

I’m going to show them there’s a solution.

In this situation, we can use a ballasted solar system that doesn’t require penetrating the roof. We can also discuss the available roof warranty.

Now the conversation shifts from worrying about damaging their building to understanding how much money they could potentially save.

Here’s what sales reps need to understand:

An objection doesn’t always mean the customer doesn’t want your product.

Sometimes they just don’t understand how it’s going to work for their specific situation.

Your job isn’t to push harder. It’s to uncover the concern, educate the customer, and provide a solution.

I’ve learned that when you have certainty in your product and know how to communicate it, you don’t have to fight objections.

You solve problems.

“What’s the upfront cost?”

That’s one of the biggest questions homeowners ask when I explain solar.

And it’s a legitimate question.

They understand the long-term savings. They see the value. But now they want to know what it’s going to cost them TODAY.

This is where knowing your product and how to communicate its value makes all the difference.

I don’t dodge the question. I answer it directly.

There’s no upfront, out-of-pocket cost with this offer.

Instead of continuing to pay an expensive utility bill, you’re replacing it with a potentially cheaper solar payment.

Same house. Same electricity needs. Different way of paying for your power.

The key to selling isn’t avoiding the tough questions. It’s having the certainty and knowledge to answer them confidently.

When you understand your product, you don’t have to pressure people. You can educate them and let the value make sense.

WHY DO SALES TEAMS DO THIS? 🔥

“I am an elite sales warrior. I will destroy my competition.”

Sounds crazy to some people. But there’s a reason behind it.

Your emotional state determines how you show up in front of a customer.

If you walk into a sales conversation feeling defeated, uncertain, or intimidated, your customer is going to feel that energy.

I’ve seen what happens when you get a room full of salespeople speaking with conviction, moving with intensity, and believing in what they’re saying.

Your physiology changes. Your energy changes. Your certainty changes.

That’s why I teach this.

You can’t always control how your day starts, how many doors slam in your face, or what objections you hear.

But you CAN control the state you operate in.

And when you learn to control your state, you stop letting your circumstances dictate your performance.

Certainty is contagious. So is uncertainty.

Which one are you bringing to your next customer?
