Our WACKER team members recently stepped away from the Charleston Site and into the community to lend a helping hand with Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland.

Our team put our values into action by giving their time, talents and energy to help build a stronger community.

🌍Connecting Careers, Cultures & Communities

As part of "Come Together: The Week of German-speaking Countries," the German Consulate General is celebrating the German language, culture and the connections that bring our communities together.

We were pleased to participate in an International Career Fair, hosted by the German Consulate, bringing together students, professionals, educators and organizations to explore career opportunities with companies connected to Germany and the global business community.

Events like this provide an excellent opportunity to showcase the diverse career paths available within international companies while helping students and job seekers learn more about the skills, experiences and opportunities that can prepare them for a global career.

At WACKER, our German heritage and international presence are an important part of who we are. We value opportunities to connect with our communities, share our industry and introduce the next generation to careers in science, technology, engineering, manufacturing and beyond.

Thank you to the German Consulate General in Atlanta for hosting this meaningful event and creating opportunities to come together, connect and build relationships across cultures. 🤝

42 Years of Passion, Performance and Possibility

Markus Auberger has built a remarkable career at WACKER - one defined by a passion for learning, a commitment to performance and a willingness to embrace new opportunities and challenges.

WACKER is more than a workplace for Markus; it is part of his family history, with several members of his family also having careers with our company.

Over the course of his career he has served in a variety of roles, with each new one bringing new experiences and opportunities.

Markus exemplifies the WACKER Value of Performance and Passion. His dedication to learning, willingness to take on new challenges and commitment to WACKER over more than four decades are an inspiring example of what can be achieved through a career built on purpose, dedication, and passion.

Recycling Roundup is this weekend, Saturday September 12th from 9 am - 1 pm at Walker Valley High School.

This is a great opportunity to clean out that garage or basement.

Please note what is acceptable to recycle at this event.

Thank you to Tennessee Environmental Council, Bradley County Stormwater Program and Keep Cleveland & Bradley County Beautiful for bringing this opportunity to our community!

The article published today regarding Section 232 and its impact on WACKER suggests that WACKER has plans to close its facility in Charleston, Tennessee.

In response, we can say: We have no plans to close the Charleston facility.

The fact is: The Polysilicon Section 232 Proclamation does not, as it reads now, effectively support the use of U.S. made polysilicon.

We remain actively engaged in constructive discussions with the Administration regarding ways to ensure that the Poly Section 232 framework delivers on its intended objective of supporting a sustainable U.S. polysilicon industry.

We trust the Administration´s ongoing commitment to support U.S. polysilicon production. Given these discussions, it is too early to assess the impact on our U.S. polysilicon business.

Building Stronger Communities Together 🏠

Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland is about more than building homes - it's about building hope, opportunity, and stronger communities.

Every hour volunteered makes a difference, whether you're swinging a hammer, helping with a project or simply lending a helping hand. And every donation helps provide the resources needed to create safe, affordable housing for families.

We're proud to support Habitat for Humanity and grateful for the team members who give their time, talents, and energy to make a difference in our community.

When we volunteer and give, we help build more than houses - we help build a better community. 💙

🌟Investing in the Next Generation 🌟
Today, team members volunteered with Junior Achievement of the Ocoee Region teaching the YES Program! to students at Etowah City School.

Programs like YES? provide students with important lessons in financial literacy, career readiness and making smart decisions for their future. We are proud to have team members who give their time, experience and encouragement to help inspire the next generation.

At WACKER, we believe being a good community partner means investing in the communities where we live and work. 💙
