The completed Charleston County School District softball complex at Lents Field in North Charleston transformed an aging baseball field into a modern, competition-ready venue designed to serve student-athletes, coaches, and the community for years to come.

Construction began with the complete demolition of the existing field and support facilities, including the backstop, dugouts, fencing, sidewalks, sports lighting, and structures. In their place, the team built a new CCSD-standard softball complex featuring new dugouts, bullpens, LED sports lighting, covered batting cages, a press box with concessions and restrooms, enhanced accessibility, and more.

Built to support student-athletes and the community, this facility will serve North Charleston for years to come.

We're excited to share this update from the City of Charleston, SC Government on the future W.L. Stephens Aquatic Center in West Ashley!

As the contractor helping bring this vision to life, we're proud to be part of a project that will serve generations of Charleston families. The new aquatic and recreation complex will feature a lap pool, therapy pool, playground, athletic courts, multipurpose field, and more, creating a vibrant community destination for recreation, wellness, and connection.

We’re excited to be part of transforming the future of recreation in West Ashley. Our team is helping bring the new W.L. Stephens Aquatic Center and Forest Park improvements to life, creating an upgraded space that will serve the Charleston community for generations to come.

The project includes construction of a +/-22,000 SF state-of-the-art aquatic center featuring an indoor pool, a therapy pool to support swim lessons, rehabilitation, and water aerobics, and expanded recreational amenities. Additional improvements throughout Forest Park will include a new playground, renovated tennis and basketball courts, community gathering spaces, and more.

Doolittle Park, Point Hope’s newest recreation center, features a Junior Olympic-size pool, a resort-style family pool with a fountain play area, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, and beautiful gathering spaces including an event lawn and covered pavilion.

Designed with families and community in mind, this new amenity will be a hub for recreation, gatherings, and resident events for years to come.

Progress in process! This time-lapse video captures the concrete pour at the new Baker Motor Company Mercedes-Benz dealership site located in Carolina Park in Mt. Pleasant. The new 60,000 SF dealership will include a modern sales area showcasing new and pre-owned vehicles, 34 fully equipped service bays, a 12-vehicle service drop-off, and Level 2 EV chargers throughout.

During our renovation work at Gwynn's on King Street in Charleston, an unexpected discovery fell from the ceiling: a century-old woman’s shoe, carefully hidden away decades ago.

According to local historians, concealing a worn shoe inside a building was once believed to bring good luck and protect its occupants, a tradition carried to Charleston by immigrants' generations ago.

As builders, we're honored to help preserve Charleston’s architectural heritage, and every now and then, history leaves us a remarkable reminder of the lives, traditions, and craftsmanship that came before us.

This hidden shoe may have spent the last 100 years out of sight, but its story is now part of the next chapter of this iconic King Street landmark.

As the owners of Gwynn’s of Mount Pleasant renovated their new King Street store, a 100-year-old woman’s shoe fell from the ceiling revealing a tradition of luck and protection once practiced by the area’s European immigrants.

Blackwells Corner is a mixed-use redevelopment envisioned as a long-awaited town center—a walkable destination featuring curated dining, retail, and office spaces designed to bring people together. The project will feature seven new buildings, an outdoor event space, and expanded parking.
