Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning Technician
Pay: $18.00–$25.00 per hour | Part-Time
Ferguson Fleet Wash is a professional cleaning company serving the Charleston area, specializing in restaurant kitchen exhaust hood cleaning, commercial and residential pressure washing, and fleet washing services.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our team, with a primary focus on restaurant kitchen exhaust hood cleaning. This hands-on position involves removing grease buildup from commercial kitchen exhaust systems to help restaurants maintain clean and safe working environments. The role also includes commercial fleet washing and pressure washing services.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, isn't afraid to get dirty, and is comfortable working non-traditional hours.
Responsibilities:
Perform restaurant kitchen exhaust hood cleaning and degreasing, including cleaning hoods, filters, and accessible exhaust system components. Assist with fleet washing and commercial pressure washing services. Safely operate company equipment and use appropriate cleaning products. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle, equipment, and job site. Communicate professionally with team members and customers while delivering reliable, quality results.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts and weekends. Comfortable working in commercial kitchens and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, remain on your feet for extended periods, and safely lift 50+ lbs. Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. Previous hood cleaning, fleet washing, pressure washing, or other hands-on cleaning experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right candidate.
Pay & Schedule:
Part-time position paying $18.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Flexible scheduling, with work primarily during non-traditional hours to accommodate restaurant and customer operations. Opportunity to learn specialized cleaning skills and grow with an established local company.
