OrangeWave's vision started with a desire to create a support system for scientists to pursue their research passions without constraints. OrangeWave was founded on the principals of a positive and supported environment, wherein shared ideas and innovations create positive impacts on environments and society. At OrangeWave, our number one priority is supporting our Scientists and catering to the n

eeds of our individual clients. Dr. Brice Orange, Senior Scientist and Founder
Brice received his BS in Physics from the College of Charleston in 2005. Throughout 2006 and most of 2007, Brice lived in the Outer Banks of NC where he worked as a surf instructor, finding his path to graduate school. Brice earned his PhD in Space Sciences in 2014 from Florida Institute of Technology. His dissertation focused on solar atmospheric energy redistribution and autonomous algorithm development. He founded OrangeWave Innovative Science, LLC in mid 2014 as a platform that provides scientists/researchers the means to pursue science without the typical constraints associated with a university or laboratory setting. Brice is currently working through OrangeWave with the University of the Virgin Islands at their Etelman Observatory. He is also actively seeking funding for research continuing fundamental solar physics and the integration of computer science with biology and ecology. Brice can be reached at [email protected]

Did you know January 29'th is 'National Puzzle Day'?

With that, we've got an image for you.. both puzzling (and silly)! The perplexing part being- where do people come up with these things?! 😅🥴😂

Have a look at the amazing Crab Nebula!

The Crab Nebula

Located about 6,500 light-years from Earth, the Crab Nebula is the remnant of a star that began its life with about 10 times the mass of our Sun. Its life ended on July 4, 1054 when it exploded as a supernova.

The Crab Nebula is filled with mysterious filaments that are not only tremendously complex, but appear to have less mass than expelled in the original supernova and a higher speed than expected from a free explosion. This nebula spans about 10 light-years. In the nebula's very center lies a pulsar: a neutron star as massive as the Sun but with only the size of a small town. The Crab Pulsar rotates about 30 times each second.
