Safety Manager Grant Pedley surveys the activity below as crews in prepare a large site for private client in Hamilton County, TN.

Standing above the developing job site, Grant watches as haul trucks moving material and operators shaping the site concentrate on keeping the project moving forward. Grant's focus is different. He is looking for potential hazards, evaluating site conditions, and helping ensure the safeguards are in place for employees working across the project.
It's a responsibility that extends beyond compliance or paperwork. His job is to help ensure every member of the team goes home in the same condition they arrived, or better.

Progress is taking shape at the Chattanooga Airport as our paving crew continues work on the South Terminal Ramp Rehabilitation project.

Working as a subcontractor to Wilson Construction Group, our team is helping prepare the site for improvements that will enhance the airport's facilities and support continued growth in aviation services throughout the region.

A special thank you to Superintendent Josh McNeely, Foreman Michael O'Barr, and the entire crew for their commitment to quality workmanship and safe operations as this project moves forward.

Whether we're building highways, bridges, industrial facilities, or aviation infrastructure, we're proud to help create projects that serve our communities and strengthen the region's transportation network.

Forty-five years of service is an incredible milestone, and today we are proud to celebrate a leader whose impact on Wright Brothers can be seen in every corner of our company.

Chairman of the Board Steve Wright recently received his 45-Year Service Certificate, presented by his sister and our Chief People Officer, Penny Ragland.

Over the past four and a half decades, Steve has served Wright Brothers in many roles, including Project Manager, Vice President, CEO, and now Chairman of the Board. Throughout that time, he has helped guide the company through tremendous growth while never losing sight of what matters most: our people.

Steve has long championed initiatives that strengthen our company culture, improve safety performance, expand training opportunities, and enhance benefits for employees and their families. His leadership has helped shape Wright Brothers into the organization it is today, grounded in the core values of Integrity, Urgency, Selflessness, and Hard Work.

While equipment, projects, and markets have changed over the years, Steve's commitment to serving employees, customers, and communities has remained constant.

Please join us in congratulating Steve Wright on 45 years of dedicated service and leadership. Thank you for the legacy you have built and the example you continue to set for future generations of Wright Brothers employees.

At Wright Brothers, every meeting begins the same way, with prayer.

Whether it's a safety meeting on a jobsite, a planning session in the conference room, or a gathering of leaders discussing the future of our company, we take a moment to pause and acknowledge the Lord who has blessed us with the opportunity to work, serve, and provide for our families.

Prayer has been a part of our company culture since the beginning. It's not a requirement, and it's never about checking a box. Rather, it's a reflection of who we are and the values that guide us every day. We believe that seeking God's wisdom helps us make better decisions, lead with humility, care for one another, and remain focused on what truly matters.

In an industry built on schedules, deadlines, and production goals, prayer reminds us that people come first. It reminds us to be thankful for the work we've been given, mindful of the responsibility we carry, and committed to returning every employee home safely at the end of the day.

One of our favorite reminders comes from Proverbs 16:3:"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established."

As we continue building roads, bridges, industrial facilities, and communities across the Southeast, we remain grateful for God's blessings and the opportunity to honor Him through our work.

When Hurricane Helene swept through the Carolinas, it left behind more than floodwaters. It damaged critical infrastructure that communities depend on every day.

We were honored when the SCDOT selected Wright Brothers to deliver Bridge Package 31, a collection of four emergency bridge replacement projects in Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. The package included bridges on South Hudson Street at Unity Park, West Washington Street along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, New Cut Road, and the pedestrian bridge at Jones Gap State Park.

As our first project with SCDOT, this work represented an exciting opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities that have defined Wright Brothers across the Southeast for decades. Our teams worked alongside SCDOT and local stakeholders to safely remove damaged structures, construct new bridges, and restore critical connections for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Today, all four bridges are back open and serving their communities with upgraded safety features and renewed resilience. While every bridge is unique, they all share a common purpose: connecting people to the places that matter most.

We're proud to have played a role in South Carolina's recovery efforts and grateful for the opportunity to partner with SCDOT on this important milestone project.

Keeping our fleet ready for the next challenge.

This CAT excavator recently arrived at our Charleston maintenance facility for scheduled service and inspection. This maintenance helps maximize uptime, improve reliability, and ensure our equipment is ready to perform when and where it’s needed most.

Our shop team works behind the scenes every day to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently across multiple states. Once service is complete, this machine will head back into the field and on to its next assignment.

The next job is waiting, and this machine will be ready.

Amazing video footage shows our crews in Boone, NC during a deck pour on the NCDOT NC105 Watauga River Bridge Replacement project.

Deck pours are one of the most critical phases of bridge construction, requiring careful coordination between concrete crews, finishers, pump operators and inspectors to ensure proper placement, consolidation and surface finish across the bridge deck. Projects like this demand precision, especially in the mountainous terrain of western North Carolina where weather, elevation and limited access add another layer of complexity to the work.

We appreciate Construction Video Pros for capturing incredible footage of our crews in action as this project continues moving forward.

Progress continues in Henderson County, North Carolina, where our crews are performing site preparation work for a new hotel development ahead of vertical construction later this summer.

Current operations include installation of a storm drainage system, construction of a drainage detention system, and a 2,500-square-foot retaining wall designed to support the future site layout and infrastructure needs. Our team is targeting completion in June, allowing the general contractor to transition directly into the next phase of construction.

Robert Mullins is serving as Foreman on the project and has done an excellent job leading the work onsite.

We’re excited to be a part of this project and help prepare the site for the next phase of development in Henderson County.
