Last week, we welcomed local high school students to GreenSource Fabrication for a hands-on facility tour.

Engineering students from the Sugar River Valley Regional Technical Center Newport had the opportunity to explore some key areas of our operation — including Mechanical & Laser Drilling, Plating, Etching, & Surface Finish Chemical Processing Lines, and Lamination — guided by our talented Engineering team who shared their expertise and answered questions about what it’s like to work in high-tech manufacturing.

It was inspiring to see their curiosity and enthusiasm as they learned how advanced manufacturing and environmental responsibility come together in our process.

At GreenSource Fabrication, sustainability and advanced manufacturing go hand in hand.

Our Process Engineering team recently spoke at UMass Lowell about Process Engineering in PCB and IC Substrate Fabrication, highlighting the role process engineers play in advancing manufacturing performance while supporting initiatives like Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), which allows GreenSource to recycle and treat all liquid waste in-house.

A special thank you to UMass Lowell for hosting this important conversation, and to our speakers Chemical Process Engineering Supervisor Robert Guyette Jr., Chemical Process Engineer Derek Lovejoy and Mechanical Process Engineer Samantha Cross, for sharing their expertise. Opportunities like this are a key part of our commitment to educating and inspiring the next generation of engineers and strengthening collaboration between industry and academia.

We were honored to welcome BAE Systems to GreenSource Fabrication to share insights on the defense programs supported by GreenSource and their importance to national security. GreenSource manufactures U.S.-made PCBs across multiple programs for BAE Systems, contributing to critical systems.

We also welcomed an F-35 pilot who spoke to the importance of this technology and the role that high-quality, reliable manufacturing plays in mission readiness and defense capabilities.

This work underscores GreenSource Fabrication’s ongoing commitment to supporting critical defense technologies and strengthening American manufacturing.
