As you are aware, the recent floods in Western North Carolina have caused immense devastation and impacted the lives of many individuals. To help alleviate the financial burden on flood victims and lend a hand in their recovery, A1 has decided to organize a company match fundraiser. This initiative aims to raise funds to support those affected by the floods and help rebuild their lives. I’m not sure the media is reporting what is going on in Western NC, but I have many friends on the ground up there and it’s the worst stories I have ever heard. The fundraiser will run until midnight Wednesday October 2nd, due to shopping on Thursday and transporting on Friday.
The main objectives of the company match fundraiser are as follows:
1. Raise Funds: The primary goal is to raise as much money as possible to support flood victims in Western North Carolina.
2. Community Support: By organizing this fundraiser, we want to demonstrate our commitment to the well-being of the communities we serve and express our empathy for those struggling during this difficult time.
3. Collaboration: We believe that collective action and cooperation are essential in times of crisis. By partnering with local organizations and charities, we aim to amplify our impact and ensure the funds reach those in need.
To participate in the company match fundraiser, please follow these steps:
1. Donate: Make a personal donation to the flood relief effort. Check, cash, or Venmo -Baucom-69
2. Company Match: A1 will match all employee donations, dollar for dollar, up to a maximum of $5,000.
3. Spread the Word: Encourage your colleagues, friends, and family to contribute to the fundraiser. Share information about the cause on your social media platforms and encourage others to also support the flood victims.
