Our October Safety Spotlight is Galmarie Jenkins! 👏 Galmarie is being recognized for the commitment, accountability, and positive attitude he brings to the jobsite every day.

Whether he's taking on a new task, making sure proper PPE is worn, or stepping in when he notices an unsafe condition, Galmarie consistently demonstrates what it means to put safety first. From ¼” tubing to 6” piping, this project put the range of our team’s capabilities to work. At Samsung’s semiconductor facility in Taylor, Texas, United crews supported high-purity gas and process systems across both controlled fabrication environments and active outdoor construction areas, from the Linde purifier room to pipe rack trestles throughout the facility.

The work included orbital autogenous welding on ¼” to 6” stainless steel tubing, controlled-atmosphere prefabrication, instrumentation tubing fabrication, precision cutting and beveling, purge control, weld integrity management, and field installation support.

Different environments. Different stages of construction. One expectation for the work our crews put their name behind.

Some of the most advanced technology in the world starts with skilled craft in the field. 👏

At Samsung’s semiconductor facility in Taylor, Texas, our United team supported the construction of high-purity gas and process systems, performing orbital autogenous welding on ¼” to 6” stainless steel tubing, controlled-environment prefabrication, precision machining and preparation, and field installation support.
