Lights were flickering and appliances were failing—all caused by a loose jaw and poor connection inside the utility meter socket. Dominion Energy stepped in to disconnect power and run new, longer underground service lines, since splicing isn’t permitted inside a meter enclosure. I replaced the meter base and the service-entrance conductors leading to the main panel, and Albemarle County inspected and approved the work. One satisfied homeowner, and a system running safely again!

Tesla CyberTruck with PowerShare is an amazing and low cost alternative way to backup your home. This install cost less $7k and they didn’t have to buy any Powerwall 3 batteries! On the low end, the equivalent amount of Cyber Truck capacity would be equal to about 7+ Power walls. And, installing those batteries (including expansion batteries) would could cost you upwards of $70k. I say buy the truck and get free whole-home backup.
