📚MEC was excited to host another set of Accelerated Readers this past Friday! 📚 The students at Clarksville Elementary School joined us for a fun afternoon of celebratory hot dogs, chips, and ice cream. 🌭🍦 The students also got to learn about MEC, what our lineworkers do each day and how to stay safe around electricity. Before returning back to school, each student received a goodie bag to show our appreciation for their hard work this school year.

Outage Update (4:00 pm): Crews have begun the replacement of the pole following Miss Utility clearance. We expect replacement and restoration to take approximately 2.5 hours.

Outage Update (2:55 p.m.): Restoration in Merifield Acres is taking longer than expected because the Miss Utility ticket has not yet cleared for the new pole installation. Our crew is onsite and ready to proceed as soon as we receive clearance to dig. We understand the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Once the ticket is cleared, we will work as quickly as possible to replace the pole and restore power.

Outage Update: 11:05 am, Crews are onsite and have found a broken pole caused by the fallen tree. Miss Utility has been called so that we can replace the pole and get power restored. We do; however, expect this to be an extended outage now lasting approximately 3 hours. Again, our apologies for the inconvenience as crews work as quickly as possible to restore power.

Crews have been dispatched to an outage affecting 500 Members in the Merifield Acres community in Clarksville—due to a fallen tree on the line. Our apologies for the inconvenience. Rest assured, your MEC team will get you powered back up as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience!
