More power. Fewer batteries. A safer system.
This van arrived with eight new 100Ah lithium batteries. After evaluating the existing battery system, we decided to replace the entire bank with three EPOCH 460Ah batteries for greater capacity, performance, and confidence in the system.
The difference is significant.
Each original battery provided 100Ah at 12V, or roughly 1.2kWh of stored energy. The EPOCH 460Ah provides 460Ah at 12.8V, or 5.89kWh per battery.
That means we can replace a large bank of smaller batteries with fewer, higher-capacity units while gaining more total energy storage, higher continuous output, integrated heating, Bluetooth monitoring, and a 4,000+ cycle rating.
For us, it’s not just about having more battery capacity. It’s about building a power system we’re confident putting back on the road.
