Some of the most important work happens quietly.
Today is the International Day of Charity, and we want to use it to recognize someone very special to the Greenfield Robotics family: Elaine Ptacek and Parkinson's Families of NW KS.
Elaine is fighting Parkinson’s herself, and still spends her time fighting for everyone else.
She advocates for patients.
She helps families understand what comes next.
She connects people with resources.
She educates.
She listens.
Through Parkinson’s Families of Northwest Kansas, Elaine and an incredible group of volunteers serve people across nine rural Kansas counties, where specialized Parkinson’s resources can be hundreds of miles away. Their Moving to Live program provides free support groups, exercise, art, music and other programming for people living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.
Elaine is a fabulous human. And this organization matters deeply to us.
So on this International Day of Charity, we're asking our community to consider doing something close to home: support the people doing the work directly in our rural communities.

From all of us at Greenfield, thank you, Elaine.
