I got to see our first ever Grizzly rock screen in action again today.
We built this unit as a one of our first projects for K3 construction back in 2024. Still looking and working great.

Two years ago, the Elk Lane fire nearly took this shop with it.

Now here we are, throwing sparks for a living and causing our own problems.

Good morning! 🛠️ The team at Red Iron Works is starting the day with a fresh delivery — a custom-built bucket for a Cat 306 excavator, just out of the shop.
This one came with a specific request: the customer wanted to stay with their existing stock teeth, so we built the bucket around Cat 119-3204 style tooth shanks for a seamless, brand-compatible fit. No new tooth systems to learn, no extra inventory to stock — just pin them on and get to work.
Built tough with hardened pins and AR400 abrasion-resistant steel on ground-contacting surfaces, this bucket is ready for whatever gets thrown at it.

Just finished a couple of custom builds we're proud of — sharing them here because this is exactly the kind of work we love doing.
First up: an excavator to skid-steer standard quick attach adapter. Fully enclosed housing to protect the mechanism, induction hardened pins on the excavator side, and built extra heavy duty. Fits Kubota, CAT, John Deere — if it runs a skid-steer plate, this adapter makes it work on your excavator. Available in multiple sizes.
Second: a custom skeleton bucket we built at the same time. AR plate, Tiger teeth, tight welds — ready for rock screening, clearing, and demo work.

We LOVE a challenge! As long as it’s metal or mechanical, we’re ready to roll up our sleeves and figure it out.

Yesterday we headed out to Rock N Road Quarry and custom-fit this heavy-duty screen on their John Deere 345G excavator. Now the operator can smash boulders with the jackhammer all day without worrying about flying rocks shattering the windshield! 💪🪨

Problem solved, job site safer, and one happy customer.
