Papaneri & Sons Concrete — we take our rocks very seriously. 🪨😂 When a stone base is appropriate, we don’t just dump it in, kick it around twice and call it good. Proper stone placement, grading and compaction help create a solid, stable foundation for the concrete above.

So yes, it may look like a bunch of grown men playing with rocks for half the morning—but there’s a method to the madness. Lay it, rake it, grade it, compact it, stare at it, move one rock three inches, stare at it again… THEN we’re ready for concrete. 😂

Some kids got bedtime stories… They got concrete estimates! When we say concrete is in our blood, we mean it pretty literally. 😂

Some people grow up wondering what they’re going to be when they get older. When you’re born into a family concrete business, you pretty much grow up knowing. You learn the sound of a concrete truck before you learn half the songs on the radio. Job sites become your second home, and before long, you’re not just watching the work—you’re part of it.

There’s something pretty special about watching the next generation genuinely love the same trade their family built a life around. Taking pride in the hard work, learning the craft, respecting the guys who taught them, and wanting to keep getting better at it.

Concrete is long days, early mornings, unpredictable weather, sore backs, dirty boots, and plenty of days that test you. You don’t stick with it just because your last name is on the truck. You stick with it because you love what you do!!

Rain delays are just part of the concrete business. 🌧️ One minute the crew is moving like a well-oiled machine, the next seven grown men are packed into a box truck like it’s a studio apartment, staring at the radar and debating whether that little green blob is “gonna blow over.” 😂

We joke about it, but weather and concrete don’t always play nice. Sometimes the smartest move is to wait it out, protect the work, and get back at it when conditions cooperate. Because around here, a rain delay might change the schedule—but it doesn’t change the standard. The job still gets done, and it gets done right. 💪🏼 At Papaneri & Sons Concrete we get it done and we stand behind our work.

Concrete guys when they feel one single raindrop: tools down, heads up, and everybody automatically hits the “Is this sh*t really happening right now?” rain pose. 😂🌧️. You better take that s**t somewhere else—we got a pour to finish!! Rain, heat, tight access, bad timing—doesn’t matter. We might complain, curse at the sky, check the radar 47 times but the job’s getting done. 😂💪🏼 That’s concrete life!

At Papaneri & Sons Concrete, we spend our days pouring driveways, patios, sidewalks and slabs—but every once in a while, we get to pour something that means a little more. ❤️

We’re happy to help leave behind a memory set in concrete. A couple of tiny handprints remind everyone where it all started! And for once, the concrete guys are perfectly happy when somebody puts their hands in the fresh work. 😂🖐️❤️
