This week, we're shining a light on Celine Saari, Project Coordinator here at Ringland Johnson for the past 4 years!

As a Project Coordinator, Celine is the glue that keeps our projects running smoothly. She:
🔹 Communicates daily with subcontractors, architects, and owners to keep every project aligned
🔹 Prepares and maintains project documentation — contracts, submittals, change orders, closeouts
🔹 Tracks project schedules and milestones, flagging issues before they become delays
🔹 Coordinates material and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers
🔹 Serves as a key liaison between the field team and the office, making sure everyone has the information they need

Behind every successful build is someone making sure all the moving pieces come together — for us, that's Celine!

⛳🍻 Birdies, Beers & a Great Day on the Course!

A couple of our Ringland Johnson team members recently participated in Birdies & Beers for Rooney’s Bar, supporting American Legion Post 497. It was a great day filled with golf, good company and plenty of fun on the course!

And a special shoutout to Scott Mutton, who beat the pro on one of the par-3 holes! 🏆⛳ Not a bad way to make your mark!

🏗️ CONSTRUCTION 101: What is a "Punch List"? 🏗️

You've probably heard our team mention a "punch list" as a project nears completion — but what does that actually mean?

A punch list is a document created near the end of a construction project that outlines any small tasks, fixes, or details that still need to be finished before the job is officially complete. Think of it as the final quality-control step between substantial completion and handing over the keys!

📋 What ends up on a punch list?
🔹 Minor repairs or touch-ups (think paint, trim, or hardware adjustments)
🔹 Incomplete installations that still need to be finished
🔹 Items that don't quite match the approved plans or specs
🔹 Missing paperwork like warranties or as-built drawings

👥 Who's involved? Our project team walks the site alongside the owner, architect, and subcontractors to identify anything that needs attention. Once the list is created, it's assigned out, tracked, and checked off one item at a time until everything meets our quality standards.

Why does it matter? Because the punch list is what ensures every space we build is truly ready — down to the last detail — before our clients move in.

At Ringland-Johnson Construction, we take this final step just as seriously as day one of the build. It's how we make sure "done" really means done! ✅
