Last month, we sent a team all the way to Utah for a very special service call. Our top apprentice, Mr. Kiah Powell, earned the opportunity to compete in the 2026 National Craft Championships!

In November our local apprenticeship chapter held a competition to determine which apprentice could showcase their skills on a national stage. Mr. Powell not only won, he outcompeted the entire graduating 4th year class as a 3rd year student.

In Utah, he put on a masterful display of his skills and knowledge of our trade enduring a two-day competition against the best tradesmen the United States had to offer.

He brought home the SILVER MEDAL! 🥈

We are so proud of Mr. Powell and his showcasing a little bit of what we do here at VP.
