As a customer you are absolutely welcome to go purchase all of the materials needed for your project. However, when it comes to paint, PLEASE, don’t hand me a can that’s been sitting around for 7 years and tell me I “can start with this. That’s #1. #2 is when you’re purchasing paint, you MUST go to the same store (whichever one you started at, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Sherwin…” and buy the same paint. This one we were handed 3 different brands from 3 different stores and they were not even close to being the same color. Not to mention the sheen was different and we couldn’t just mix them; not that we should be mixing colors, that’s what the paint stores are for. And if you decide to do this, you’re not aloud to question the painters on why “one side looks different from the other”. But just don’t do it. And that paint in your garage that’s been there more than 6 months take a pic of the can and lid and get rid of it. Actual painters don’t want it.
Lastly, when you’re given receipts 🧾 for the things I/we needed that you wouldn’t get for us, you’re REQUIRED to reimburse me/us to the cent.
Rant over. Thanks for letting us tackle your paint project. This sun tan looks great on me.
