Job description:
We are looking for a hose technician/general laborer that will be part of our great customer service team. Work includes general warehouse duties, including picking, pulling and stocking inventory, cleaning and organizing, building industrial hose and hydraulic hose assemblies, pipe fittings and working with other industrial type products. On the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Hydraulic and industrial hose assembly
Cut and couple customers hose
Provide good customer service
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Report any discrepancies
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Skills
Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects
Ability to read a tape measure
Basic math skill
Pipe fitter
