Days: Mon-Thur 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, must be available for OT on Friday's

Nights: Sun-Wed 8:30 pm to 6:00 am, must be available for OT on Thursday's.

Responsibilities:
Acknowledge and assure workplace safety and company guidelines are being followed.
Production of quality parts
Quality of all production per instructions.
Meet production quantity set by leader.
Operation of machinery to manufacture parts to customer’s blue print
Keeping department clean and presentable at all times.
Notify leader of any issues immediately.
Assume some responsibilities of Leader if the Leader is not available to fulfill those duties.

Qualifications:
Ability to read and blue prints and work instructions.
Ability to read calipers and other measurement devices
Lift 50 pounds

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or Trade School

CMM Programmer / Operator

The CMM Programmer/Operator will use the Hexagon Absolute Arm/Inspire and BendingStudio software to inspect parts. Inspire is similar to Polyworks. BendingStudio is a tube-specific inspection program we will train you on.

RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY:
Write inspection programs using Inspire / Bending Studio (on-the-job training provided).
Perform part layouts, capability, GRR & gage inspections.
Proficient with Metrology software, GD&T and Statistics.
Ability to write, edit & debug CMM measurement programs.
Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers & height gages/indicator.
Design jigs, fixtures, and templates for use as work aids in the development of creating a proper alignment scheme in order to reflect the prescribed GD & T of a released parts or products.
Verify dimensions and alignments of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.
Other duties as required by supervisor.

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 years of combined experience and training as a CMM Programmer/Operator.
Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts CAD models or other specifications to plan sequences of operations for creating/operating CMM programs.
Experience with portable measurement equipment – (i.e. Hexagon Absolute, Romer, Faro Arms)
Strong organizational skills.
Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proficient with all of Microsoft Office Programs.
Must be highly motivated, able to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
Deal with multiple tasks, perform complex and varied task with strong attention to detail.
Self-starter able to work alone or in groups.
Ability to read and understand a blueprint and GD&T.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 2 years combined experience and training as a CMM Program/Operator in a manufacturing environment.
