I know it’s been a while since I posted any updates but there are extenuating circumstances. Here is a new project I am working on. All demo was completed on the first day. Installed new 6x6 posts and framing. All joists are secured. Going to install new 4x4 posts and get ready for Trex decking.

Last week was a milestone week for hutch’s home repair. After being unceremoniously released from my job, I started my own business. The first year was rough. I was building my client base and trying to survive. Constantly wondering if I made the right choice. I poured myself into building something I could be proud of. My wife and my family stood by me and helped me. Every client I worked with helped me realize that I could make this work. My clients believed in me and my family believed in me. I just needed to believe in myself. My second anniversary has come and passed. I have the utmost confidence in what I am doing. I believe I am doing what’s right for me and my family. Yes it has been rough but we are making strides in the right direction. We recently signed our biggest contract to date and have another waiting in the wings. We are ending the year on a high note and starting the year on a high note. Hutch’s home repair and remodeling will survive and thrive. To my clients, I thank you for believing in us. To my family, I love you all and thank you for standing tall with me. Here’s to making year 3 better then ever.

Day one of a new project. Gonna remove all existing foam boards and drywall down to bare studs. Sealing all wall cavities with spray foam. Adding mass loaded vinyl over that for sound control then new drywall.
