It's one of the best times of the year in Ohio, the start of summer and the beginning of golf outing season! Earlier this week a few of our Millstone team members played in the Spartan Open benefiting Case Western Reserve University Athletics at Stonewater Country Club. This time of year brings great opportunities to support organizations in our area while enjoying a fantastic day outside. Cheers to more sunny days ahead and a beautiful summer in Northeast Ohio.

The final product of a project is always exciting to share, and we think this one turned out beautifully. At the Geauga Transitional Living Center we had the opportunity to not only renovate some of the facility, but add on to it as well. Looking forward to the next opportunity to build, improve, and create lasting results. In the meantime, we love sharing what we built. Earlier this week Millstone Management Group was honored to be presented with the Business Partnership Impact Award from Mentor Public Schools. Since 2020, we have been the Construction Manager for countless projects across the Mentor District, including renovations to the High School science labs, construction of the High School weight training facility, construction of the CARES building, varsity baseball field replacement, campus site upgrades, work on the football stadium including a new state-of-the-art scoreboard and the track replacement, Fairfax Elementary classroom renovations, window and door replacements at the high school campus, sports medicine lab build, career tech academy build outs and renovations, and the weight room renovations, along with others not listed. We appreciate the trust the Mentor Public Schools has continued to place in our team over the last 6 years, and we look forward to a continued strong partnership!

May is Mental Health Awareness month and we cannot think of a better time to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the expanded Geauga Transitional Living Center which occurred on May 1st. Working alongside Perspectus Architecture to expand the facility from 9 beds to 16 beds with additional shared living areas, a renovated kitchen, additional outdoor spaces, and support space; we are extremely proud of how this project turned out. Congratulations Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services on your new and improved facility, this will serve the community well for years to come!

As we prepare for the ribbon cutting and opening of the new Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services addition, Millstone Management Group organized a donation drive in our office. This week we delivered comforter sets, pillows, kitchen essentials, and large storage baskets to ensure every room in the facility could have new bedding and their new kitchen is stocked with added necessities. With the ribbon cutting taking place next week, we're excited to see it all come together and to share the final results!
