We are out here for the Wyoming Aviation Heritage League Airshow! Great weather this morning to come check out the cool airplanes and explore our Aviation History. Tour the Historic Terminal and the Old control tower. Free water at our booth all day! *Bias opinion* As my(Ryan) first aircraft was a C-130H, I’d say we have the best seat in the house!

A sneak peek at the lineup of this weekend’s airshow parked in our hangar! We are happy to help the Wyoming Aviation Heritage League showcase what the great city of Cheyenne can do for Aviation. Make sure to bring your family, friends, and more to see the awesome lineup of static displays. Swing by our booth for some swag and a cold bottle of water. ATTENTION! Tempest just issued a service bulletin for spark plug cracks. We noticed these a few weeks ago and helped submit the required defect reports necessary. If you have recently had spark plugs installed between May and now, the new inspection and spark plugs are reimbursable. Schedule with us in Cheyenne to make sure you are compliant. Safety is our top priority!

We had history come through Cheyenne! Doc, one of only two B-29s flying(Fifi was here in ‘24), stayed the night. We had the exclusive opportunity to walk around and see it up close. Donnie, their Director of Maintenance, gave us the tour and allowed us to crawl all over. Such a cool experience!

It’s not often you see a plane like this. As parts become harder to find and more expensive, decisions must be made. Economically too expensive to repair, but still has value. So we go out on the owners request and collect as many parts as we can that can be used to keep others flying. Then we scrap the remainder. This one happened to be in Hawaii. Corrosion is a constant problem there and caused this one to become unairworthy.
