At Robot Explorers Summer Camp, students will learn the fundamentals of robotics, coding, and game-building through engaging STEM activities designed to spark creativity and innovation. Along the way, campers will build problem-solving skills, teamwork, confidence, and a love for learning.

STEM Challenge: Build a Straw Rocket

This is from NASA’s official Jet Propulsion Lab site, and it's perfect for kids, parents, and classrooms. The activity teaches basic physics, trajectory, and design — and it only needs paper, tape, scissors, and a straw!

Create a paper rocket that can be launched from a soda straw – then, modify the design to make the rocket fly farther!

Hello!

Thank you all for signing up to be an exhibitor for our first-ever STEM event, Fall into STEM at Percy Julian Middle School on November 16th. We are thrilled to have you joining us. Attached to this email you will find a FAQ sheet, a floor plan, and a parking map. Take a look at everything and let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

We have two options for setting up. You can set up on Friday the 15th from 5-7, or on Saturday morning beginning at 8:00 until 9:30/45, so we're ready to open the doors at 10:00. If you could let me know when you're interested in setting up, that would be great. We are mostly trying to get a count of how many folks will be coming on Friday.

As you will see in the FAQ, we will be providing light breakfast and lunch for all volunteers and exhibitors on the day of the event. More information abou that will be coming soon.

Again, we are thrilled to have you all be a part of this event!
