Harmony Square — a new multi-use third-space plaza in the heart of Tinley Park — thoughtfully blends community function with refined architectural details. Anchored by Teehan’s Tavern and the newly opened Durbin’s Restaurant, the development includes a public performance stage, party shed, and a playground — making it a destination for both relaxation and recreation.
Designed by TRIA Architects and Lakota Group, our team, led by sales rep Luke, helped deliver much more than masonry on this job.
Inside Durbin’s, you’ll find reclaimed Chicago Common brick (full range) lining the walls — offering texture, warmth, and history. These bricks are paired with LaCantina Doors’ bifolding “win-doors,” which open the space directly to the sounds of the outdoor stage. Integrated Centor insect screens make it easy to enjoy an indoor-outdoor experience — without the pests.
The design continues up the stairs, where reclaimed commons lead into the upstairs party rooms. The space is flooded with natural light from Quaker’s arched window units, each composed of three awnings and three fixed units — joined to create striking architectural arches.
Outside, the restaurant and stage facade are clad in a custom Interstate Brick blend, using Ironstone, Mountain Red, and Midnight Black — a bold and dynamic palette that mirrors the vibrancy of the plaza.
