A bigger picture, built on the details.

ENGworks Global provided 3D modeling of the landside architectural layout for Sacramento International Airport’s Terminal B expansion, which included two buildings and an above-ground passenger train system.

Is there a workflow at your firm that only works when one specific person is in the office?

That’s not a people problem. It’s a systems problem. Scalable firms build their best people’s know-how into standards, documented workflows, and integrated tools, so the work keeps moving no matter who’s out.

We help AEC teams make that shift: engworksglobal.com/innovation/

Behind every finished building are systems that need to work together.

ENGworks Global coordinates mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in BIM to identify conflicts before construction and support smoother installation.

Our fabrication experience helps connect the model to what crews need in the field.

The Silver Cross Hospital project required more than spatial conflict resolution.

Getting MEP systems into a multi-story healthcare facility meant working out installation sequence — which trades go first, what tolerances exist in congested zones, where the critical path runs.

That work happens in the model. When it's done right, crews can execute in order.

When it isn't, you find out in the field. That's the most expensive place to discover anything.

Small data errors can become bigger project problems.

An incorrect detail in a building model can lead to extra work during coordination, fabrication, or facility maintenance. Clear standards and regular content reviews help keep information consistent as it moves between teams.

ENGworks Global helps create, review, and maintain BIM content so teams have more reliable information to work with.

Drawings show what was planned. Existing conditions tell the rest of the story.

ENGworks Global’s Scan to BIM experience includes electrical and telecom modeling, helping turn scan data into a clearer picture of existing infrastructure.

For renovations and retrofits, better information supports better planning.

Automating a broken process doesn't fix it. It makes it faster at producing the wrong result.

Before we build any integration or automation solution, we spend time understanding the actual process: where exceptions happen, where manual corrections are hiding, and whether the documented workflow matches how teams actually work.

That diagnostic work is what makes the automation reliable when it goes live.

If you're thinking about automation, start with the process. We can help with both.

Transit infrastructure doesn't wait for construction to finish.

The CTA 95th Street Station required BIM modeling around existing systems, tight space constraints, and a schedule that couldn't absorb field problems.

Public infrastructure projects need models that give construction teams what they need to execute. Not models that pass review.

We approach them that way.

Innovation is more than a goal. It’s what moves our industry forward.

Ryan Murray, one of our Senior Project Managers, recently attended Stratus Innovate 2026 in Seattle, where more than 500 MEP professionals gathered for hands-on learning and conversations about the future of fabrication and data-driven workflows.

Ryan was especially excited by the continued integration of tools that allow information to move efficiently from fabrication to Revit and back again. More connected workflows have tremendous potential to improve efficiency, reduce duplicated effort, and create greater value throughout the entire project lifecycle.

He left impressed by the Stratus team’s willingness to listen to its clients, challenge traditional approaches, and invest in what comes next.

We’re excited about what these innovations could mean for the future of our industry.
