A ONE-DAY INSTALLATION-Our Toby Washburn and Christian Schoop had a busy day recently when they delivered Wurlitzer Opus 1176 (1925) to the Dawn Theatre, Hillsdale, Michigan. The organ has returned to its original home after an absence of over 70 years! The delivery and principle portions of the installation were completed in one very long day. We will return to complete our work once the theatre completes some infrastructure and line voltage electrical preparations.

ALL IN A DAY'S WORK-Yesterday, our Toby Washburn and Christian Schoop, delivered, hoisted and assembled Main Chamber components for our Wurlitzer project in Hillsdale, Michigan after which they drove to Indiana and picked up the console to be used for our project in Bellingham, Washington (to replace a badly compromised, non-original Wurlitzer console) and delivered it back to our workshop all in the span of about 36 hours-- busy boys!

WELCOME CHRISTIAN! We are pleased to announce that Mr. Christian Schoop has joined our team, beginning a new career as an organbuilder. Christian graduated from Munster High School this spring with additional studies at The Hammond Area Career Center studying construction trades and cabinet making. And he plays the organ!

BACK BEFORE THE PUBLIC-Today we dusted off the Chicago Theatre's phenomenal 1921 Wurlitzer pipe organ (Opus 424) to be used in conjunction with the indy-rock group, the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, for two sold out performances this week! Madison Square Garden Entertainment, owners of the Chicago, are pleased to present it to audiences who likely have never heard such an instrument.
