We were honored to host Congressman Sean Casten (IL-06) at Cornell Forge today. It was a great opportunity to showcase our 95-year-old family business and discuss federal policies that impact manufacturing and our industry.

As members of the Forging Industry Association, we recognize that our needs align with the broader goals of domestic manufacturing. Together, we are committed to keeping American manufacturing strong and competitive for the future.

We’re excited to share that our maintenance team has successfully completed a full rebuild of our 4000-ton press. This project included IoT upgrades, a new bolster, and cell optimization to enhance its performance and efficiency.

Led by Fransisco, with outstanding contributions from Adam Piotr and Krzysztof, the team spent the past 10 months bringing this plan to life. Their hard work and attention to detail ensured the press is now back in action and better than ever.

We’d also like to extend our gratitude to our partners, GPL Industries and Campbell Inc. Press Repair, for their invaluable support throughout this project.

We’re incredibly proud of the entire team for their dedication and craftsmanship. Great work, everyone!

Automation Update at Cornell Forge!

We’re excited to share a look at our latest project—a Fanuc robotic arm running the trim press in our forging process. This is part of our push to improve efficiency, safety, and precision in what we do every day.

Thanks to our partnership with Adaptec Solutions, this technology is helping us take our production to the next level while staying committed to quality and continuous improvement.
