Celebrating Safety Excellence

Please join us in recognizing Uriel (right), Lavell (left), Ross (not pictured) for earning an OPC Safety Award!

Their consistent commitment to safety sets the bar high across our projects. From setting up proper site protections, staying consistent with PPE and ensuring spotters are always in place for trucks to speaking up when something doesn’t look right. We have eyes and ears focused on the safety of all!

A special shoutout to Ross, who caught an improper excavation that was benched instead of sloped, saving time and resources.

🌟 Celebrating at the 10th Annual GLCA Tailgate 🌟

John Keno & Company was proud to participate in the 10th Annual 2025 GLCA Tailgate, a tradition that continues to bring together industry peers, families, and friends.

This year’s event was a good reflection of what makes our industry and JKC special! Our crew showed up in full force, bringing energy, support, and plenty of JKC pride.

From seeing the kids run around and play in the bouncy houses to enjoying the friendly competition - we can say the day was FUN! Events like this remind us that while the work we do is tough, the relationships and culture we build along the way are what make it truly meaningful.

A big thank you to the Great Lakes Construction Association for hosting another incredible tailgate and to everyone at JKC who made the day one to remember! 🍂🍻

We’re proud to showcase the newly completed improvements at Addison Park – a space built to bring the community together and encourage outdoor activity.

The upgrades include:
✔️ New picnic shelter & shaded seating area
✔️ New concrete and asphalt paths
✔️ New basketball half-courts
✔️ New pickleball courts
✔️ New futsal court
✔️ Updated volleyball court
✔️ Soccer practice area
✔️ Fresh landscaping, including 46 new trees

☀️ With the summer heat in full swing, Hannah led the charge with a brilliant idea to create Heat Safety kits. Each kit is equipped with sunscreen, hydration packs, and health reminders to aid in keeping our crews safe and prepared on the job. From staying hydrated to staying kind, thank you Hannah, for bringing passion and purpose to the job site by looking out for one another and demonstrating our core values: Integrity, Innovation, and Teamwork.
