We had occasion to be in La Grange recently, and the Village has done an excellent job of implementing and maintaining the brand.

In 2019, a5 Branding & Digital partnered with the Village of La Grange to create a bold new community identity centered on what makes the village so special: its energy, character and people. The colorful "L" enclosed in a circle reflects the many facets of La Grange, while the tagline "Vibrant." captures the spirit that residents, businesses and visitors experience every day.

Hello, Kalamazoo! a5 team members Bailey Maguire and Ryan McDonough connected with small business owners, entrepreneurs and community leaders at the 2026 Chamber’s Choice Small Business Conference & Celebration in Downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The presentation, “The Attention Economy Isn’t Fair for Small Businesses. Here’s How to Win Anyway,” focused on marketing challenges nearly every small business faces.

The team shared practical ways businesses can make limited marketing resources impactful: defining a brand, choosing the right channels, creating stronger content, using AI thoughtfully and turning one great idea into ongoing relationship-building.

Thank you to Southwest Michigan First Chamber for giving us the opportunity to connect with the attendees and experience the impact they’re making across Michigan.
