Congratulations to HACIA’s 2026 Program Graduates! 🎓

Last week, HACIA hosted a graduation ceremony to celebrate all participants who completed a HACIA program in 2026. Through hard work and dedication, these individuals have learned valuable new skills, earned industry certifications, and built pathways for opportunity within the construction industry.

A big thanks to IL State Representative Kam Buckner, 26th District, Alberto Rocha, President of Rocha Electric, and Luis Vazquez, President of Toro Construction, for speaking to our graduates and offering valuable insights as they enter the next phase of their careers.

Last night, HACIA celebrated our program graduates with a ceremony to honor their incredible achievements. Through hard work, dedication, and perseverance, these graduates have built new skills, earned valuable certifications, and created pathways to new opportunities across the construction industry.

Following last night’s ceremony, HACIA’s offices will be closed today as our team takes a well-earned day to recharge after making this special event possible. Although our offices will be closed, select staff will have access to email if any questions may arise. We will resume regular business hours on Monday, August 3rd.

The Scholars Fund Reception brings together industry leaders, community partners, and HACIA members to support the HACIA Scholarship & Education Foundation, which awards scholarships to deserving students pursuing careers in construction and related fields.

This week, HACIA program graduates from Illinois Works General Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Program and FEJA: General Construction Bridge Program were invited by Miller Pipeline to visit an active job site for a first-hand look at how to repair a gas leak.

Experiences like these help bridge the gap between training and careers, giving our program graduates a deeper understanding of the opportunities available in the construction industry. Participants had the chance to learn about the critical role laborers play on the job site and gained valuable insights into day-to-day operations of the construction industry.

A special thanks to Ed Condon and the entire Miller Pipeline team for welcoming our graduates, sharing your expertise, and helping prepare the next generation of construction professionals!
