As AI and data center growth drives new demands on the grid, we're focused on planning responsibly and helping protect customers from the costs of projects that never move forward.

In a recent The Wall Street Journal article, Jeanne Jones, our executive vice president of finance and strategy, discussed how we identify "real growth that's going to happen versus speculative growth" before investing in grid infrastructure.

By requiring financial commitments from large projects, we're helping ensure those driving new demand are responsible for the costs that come with it, supporting smarter grid planning and putting customers first.
