Today we were informed that Richard Bemi, who was with Hovey Energy for 5 years, passed away last Sunday. He had been suffering from heart issues, among other conditions for a while. However, he fought these ailments with incredible strength and courage. He reached out to me a couple months ago to say our company was the best company he had ever worked for, and I told him how inspiring he was to hold on and keep fighting so hard. Richard was a top closer and good friend to many people in our office. He will always be a part of the beginning years at Hovey Energy. Our prayers and deepest condolences go out to his family and all his friends and people that knew Richard. We are extremely sorry for everyone’s loss. This is another reminder how short life can be, and how important it is to be good to one another while we’re still here. When we find ourselves complaining, let’s remember how so many of us don’t have that privilege anymore. Tell someone you love them, or let them know you’re sorry about something, or let go of any grudges before it’s too late. RIP Richard, we will never ever forget you.

One year ago today we lost Robin Feges. We were so honored to have her Mom, Brother, and Sister visit us and accept last year’s award for Outstanding Sales Achievement that Robin wasn’t able to receive. This award meant so much to her because it symbolized the hard work she was so proud of. Robin’s bigger-than-life spirit is a part of us. She epitomized what it means to NEVER give up, both personally and professionally. In her 5 years with Hovey Energy, she showed us what it means to keep moving forward and most of all, how to laugh at ourselves when we should. We can still hear your voice so clearly, Robin. You are very very much alive.
