Last week, the Calumet Area Industrial Commission honored Jim Sibley from Ozinga with their yearly award to someone who has contributed greatly to the organization over the past year. They also announced they would be changing the name of the award to the Richard L. Raffin Award. We are honored by this decision and are proud to carry on the legacy of our late president's lifelong contributions to the CAIC.

This snowy Veterans Day, we express our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women who have served our nation in the armed forces. Raffin Construction recently completed the new Emilio Albert De La Garza, Jr. Monument at Veteran's Park, East Chicago. This monument honors all veterans and is a testament to their service and a space for reflection on their contributions. Thank you veterans!
