Fact of the day: Air conditioners are made up of two motors, which utilize electrical power. One of them is the compressor, which is the responsible for cooling the air with the refrigerant. The second motor is responsible for moving the air by driving the fan.

Tip of the day: If your unit is not working before calling make sure your thermostat batteries are not dead. Second check that your breaker is not tripped. If it has been tripped reset it, if it trips again call for service for this is a problem.

Fact of the day: Refrigerant does not shrink or disappear - a need for regular recharging indicates a refrigerant leak. The solution is to fix the leak, not to keep recharging the system.
